I bought some silver flecked trousers there a few months back. That's taking it to another level though. Respect.

Thanks for all the amazing 'anonymous' comments! Perhaps a visit to Circus may clear up any confusion about the 'cheap' theme and how we interpreted it.

James, you rock. I gather from the hostile comments that dickhead above he's just a little unfortunate. Perhaps you once blew the ugly knob off because of his shit dance moves...

What's with all the bad vibe comments here? Dublin Streets, you put up with a lot of crap from these annonymous posters!

I dont think people should be offended by comments that criticise the outfits on here. The entire point of online style blogs is so people can share their views on different 'looks'. I have to say that I think James's outfits here are really awful. I'm just really not a fan of such 'obvious' statements...perhaps the photos are meant to be ironic, but if that is the aim I still think they have missed the mark completely.

Perhaps its time for us to explain. Both of these pictures were taken as part of the 'Cheap As Chips' exhibition in Circus. We wanted to play on the HSBC ads in Dublin Airport that play on a word having two meanings. We used the word cheap and both of these pics represent that in different ways - in the first one, the whole outfit didn't cost very much...'cheap'. The second pic is label led, D&G, Dior etc but still manages to look 'cheap'.... or trashy. It was unfair to post them without the finished piece. Sorry!

And re the criticising.. people should defo be able to voice their opinions, style is such that it strikes passion, be it love or hate, in people. But unnecessary belligerence is just a pain in the hoop. For everyone.
